Are You Ready For Obstacles?
Whenever we set out in chase of a new goal like starting a new diet & exercise plan we're bound to run into more than our fair share of obstacles.
One key to success is to plan for the obstacles in advance and work out solutions to handle them.
A few common obstacles to wellbeing and success are:
π© Not enough time
π© Donβt like exercise
π© Itβs too hard
π© Not enough money
π© The timingβs not right
π© I donβt know where to start
π© I travel too much
π© Iβm too tired
π© Iβm no good at that
π© If I succeed people will expect me to keep it up
π© My family & friends would laugh
Think of all the potential obstacles that could be preventing you from reaching your current goals and then plan 1-3 solutions to overcome each one.
Example 1:
π· Not enough time
Solutions:

Wake up half an hour early and exercise before the kids are up or before work

Leave work on time
β
Do shorter, more time effective workouts

Example 2:
π· Too busy to cook healthy meals
Solutions:

Do a big food prep session on Sundays. Prepare and cook a few meals for the week. Freeze a couple of them if you have to.

Use a food service like Marley Spoon for 3 meals a week to ease some of the load.

Keep things simple. Stick to recipes or meals that are basic and don't have too many ingredients.
I understand that everyone and their situation is different. These are just common examples, you need to create your own for what works fo you.
