Outdoor Group Training

Our outdoor group training sessions are an excellent way to stay motivated and to feel a sense of community and support. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with other Dads, have some fun and to learn ways that we can all better ourselves.

You don’t have to be a former athlete or have any prior physical training experience to get started. We cater to all levels of experience and ability.

There’s also the added benefit of getting outdoors and getting some fresh air. Guaranteed to help improve your mood and mindset.

Currently held two mornings a week in Newstead. The best way to guarantee getting your exercise done is to do it first thing in the morning. Each session runs for 1 hour.

Focused on functional bodyweight training, stretching & mobility, core strength, fitness, plenty of laughter, some fun and challenging games and good banter.

With an extra optional training session emailed each week that can be done anywhere and in your own time. Regular lifestyle, motivation, nutrition and mindset tips.

Small Group Strength Training

All small group strength & conditioning sessions are run out of Gym Cartel in Newstead and run with a Maximum of 4 people per session.

Our main focus of these sessions is to build functional strength. Focusing on your most important compound exercises…Deadlifts, Squats, Bench Press, Pull-ups, Weighted Lunges etc, etc. Learning correct technique and gradually building your confidence to add load safely and sensibly.

Even though strength is our main focus we don’t want to neglect your conditioning and that’s why we like to end most sessions with a short “finisher”. Something to get your heart rate up and work your whole body. Bike, Rower, Sled Push, Dead-balls, Kettlebells, etc, etc.

These sessions are perfect for those who want to add in some strength training in addition to the outdoor group training or for those simply wanting to focus on strength and conditioning work in the gym.

Personal Coaching

Personal Coaching can be a great option if you’re not ready or comfortable to jump into a group or if you have some specific goals or needs that are better addressed in a personal one-on-one setting.

Beginning with an open and honest chat about where you currently are in terms of overall health, wellness and training abilities. Together we will identifying some of your major challenges and plan some solutions to overcome them.

All personal coaching clients will be guided through a movement assessment which will highlight any areas of limitations in mobility and ability.

 

03

Personalised training along with encouragement and guidance on how to try new movements and a wider variety of exercises.
